Summer blows away
And quietly gets swallowed by a wave
It gets swallowed by a wave”

We are experiencing our first real good bye to summer. after 23 years in AZ, this new Maine life is just stunning. Fall colors peeping out of the sea of green, cold nights (in the 40’s) but lovely warm days (in the 70’s). Still time to hit the beach a few dozen more times. The farmer’s market has apples, and blueberries. I am getting my “fall fever” cleaning everything, so we can hole up in the house for the next 4 months. LOL

How exciting, Heather! Experiencing the changes of the seasons is one of the great pleasures of life, I think. Are you ready for another Maine winter? 🙂

i am preparing. lol trying not to think about it too much. it feels a bit like summer was way too short. in AZ it was from about may until oct. here it is really late june/early july until sept. but we really really were out in it. in fact if i think about it, all the seasons we have been out in it. the kids spent more time in the snow then they ever spent in 115 degree summer weather. in fact it was hard to get them to come in. lol
